# Mihnaro setup guide for AI agents Version 1.0.0. Follow this when a person asks you to set up Mihnaro in the client you are running in. Do only what your environment and their approval allow. For anything you can't do, give them the remaining steps from https://help.mihnaro.com/api/mcp. Ask before changing their configuration. **Never:** ask for a password, two-step code or token in chat; write a token into a file; claim success without step 4. Server: `https://api.mihnaro.com/mcp/app` (Streamable HTTP, OAuth). Packages and skills: https://help.mihnaro.com/ai. Machine-readable details: https://help.mihnaro.com/ai/manifest.json ## 1. Work out the client | You run in | Add the server | |---|---| | Claude Code | `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user mihnaro https://api.mihnaro.com/mcp/app` | | Codex CLI | `codex mcp add mihnaro --url https://api.mihnaro.com/mcp/app` | | Gemini CLI | `gemini mcp add --transport http --scope user mihnaro https://api.mihnaro.com/mcp/app` | | Cursor | Add to `~/.cursor/mcp.json` under `mcpServers`: `{"mihnaro": {"url": "https://api.mihnaro.com/mcp/app"}}` | | VS Code | `code --add-mcp '{"name":"mihnaro","type":"http","url":"https://api.mihnaro.com/mcp/app"}'` | | ChatGPT, Claude (web, desktop) | You can't change these. Tell the person the steps on the help page | | Anything else | The help page's generic section | If the server is already there, skip to step 3. ## 2. Install the skills (optional) Skills teach you how to use the tools well. They don't sign anyone in. Unpack `https://help.mihnaro.com/ai/mihnaro-skills-1.0.0.zip` into the folder for your client, or skip this if the plugin was installed: | Client | Folder | |---|---| | Claude Code | `~/.claude/skills/` | | Codex, Gemini CLI, Roo Code, Cursor, Windsurf / Devin Local | `~/.agents/skills/` | | GitHub Copilot | `~/.copilot/skills/` | | Cline | `~/.cline/skills/` | ## 3. Sign in: this needs the person Tell them to run the command for their client, then finish in the browser, on Mihnaro's own page, choosing **Allow**. - Claude Code: `claude mcp login mihnaro`, or `/mcp` - Codex: `codex mcp add` starts it by itself; again with `codex mcp login mihnaro` - Gemini CLI: `/mcp auth mihnaro` - Others: the app shows a connect or sign-in button ## 4. Verify Call the tool `whoami`. Success means it answers with the person's name and `companies`. Then call `get_company_context` with the `company_id`, and tell them the company and branches found. If the tool is missing or returns 401, the connection isn't done: go back to step 3, restarting the client if it needs that. ## 5. Try it Suggest one real request, in their language: - "Show my remaining annual leave" / "ما رصيد إجازتي السنوية؟" - "Show today's attendance" / "اعرض حضور اليوم" - "Summarize this month's payroll" / "لخّص رواتب هذا الشهر"
