Roles and permissions
Give people access to what they need, for the whole company or part of it.
The company's administrator always has every permission. Everyone else gets access through roles.
Roles
Go to Company → Roles and permissions. A role is a set of permissions (for example "manage payroll" or "view attendance"). Start from a ready-made role or an empty one.
Scope
When you give someone a role you also choose where it applies:
| Scope | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Company | The whole company |
| Branch | One branch |
| Department | One department, in every branch |
| Reports | The people who report to them, directly or indirectly |
Give a role
Open the person's employee file, go to roles and permissions, and add the role with its scope. All role holders lists everyone who holds a role.
Turn a role off
A role that is turned off stays with its holders but grants nothing until it is turned on again.
